Christmas 2009

Well, Christmas was here and gone and Avery enjoyed every minute of it; she is already talking about next year....

Well, for Santa to know what she wanted she had to mail a letter to him.
Christmas Eve we rolled, cut, decorated and baked cookies for Santa, he must be a really special guy to have homemade cookies waiting for him.

Christmas Eve, opening presents at Meme and Papa's
A keyboard
A tutu
Add Image A puppy dog - I just loved her facial expressions this year
Christmas morning - at home
Santa must have enjoyed the cookies as he only left cookie crumbs and a note
A dollhouse (Avery calls it her Barbie house)
A watch
Hungry Hungry Hippo
Checking out what is in her stocking - of course panties
Last but not least a scooter.
Christmas evening - waiting for Meme and Papa to get home, so she can see what is in her stocking there.
Starting early - scratching a lottery ticket
We hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas and wish you the
Best in 2010!!!

Gingerbread House

We "built" a gingerbread house this past weekend. Mom and I did most of the work and Avery stopped to "help" every once in a while. I believe our final product is pretty good for a beginner.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Houston, Texas got some snow yesterday, amazing. It was too funny at work as the snow was coming down pretty good (for Texas) and us adult Texans were glued to the window like it was something we have never seen before.

Making a Snowball

I got one, who is going to be the lucky target?
Daddy, good choice Being Silly
Daddy made a snowman about the time Avery started having a meltdown, so she isn't too happy in the picture, but I wanted her to take her picture with the snowman as this one is way bigger than the ones we would make in Brenham when I was younger.
Stay warm, although I believe today it is going to almost make it to 50 degrees, which is still cool, but from 26 degrees to 50 degress is a pretty good jump. But then again we live in Texas.
